Beware of the dotted line. I'd never thought of my life as being anything special or intriguing, until the night Death came to my door. Thrust into a life or 'death' battle, I had Seventy-two hours to prove my father took out a contract with Lucifer.
With Death by my side, I set out to figure out the who's and whys of my situation. However my father had other plans for me. Now, in a race against time, would I survive my Seventy-two hour reprieve, or was I destined to fulfill that contract. Somehow I knew, I’d never be the same.

Well written, fast paced, good story. A few typos of the "spell check couldn't catch" variety, and a few things undeveloped due to the short length of the story. Overall, though, I enjoyed it and would read more by this author.Product details

Reaper Mercy edition by TL Reeve Romance eBooks Reviews
Wasn't sure what to expect with this book, but Ms Reeve put an amazing amount of twists and turns in such a short story. And I'm not ashamed to say I shed a few tears during the story - but I won't tell you why. This book was an amazing combination of sizzling chemistry and rampant emotion. A definite recommended read if you enjoy paranormal and m/m.
Much what I expected. Sadly, this is a bust on Constantine mixed with a few other stories out there. The author does bring a new twist to it with Death becoming a companion, but the poor writing/grammar/jump to sexual content did impact the way the story laid down. My appreciation for the attempt to create this incredibly interesting concept (granted it wasn't a stretch from others I've read but the author did give it a lot of life) did mitigate the obvious flaws in the story. It is worth a read if you like stories where there's a dark aura.
Who would've thought Death would have a soft side, certainly not Kimber. When Death showed up at Kimber's door he begged and pleaded but knew it would do no good. When Death explained that Kimber's own father had signed a deal with Satan he knew his father did it on purpose. When his abusive father found him with another man, he beat him into the hospital and disowned him. In a surprising display of mercy, Death gives Kimber 72 hours to prove that his father willfully broke the contract. Death throws in one stipulation and that is that he will be by Kimber's side the whole time. The thought of spending 72 hours with Death should be abhorrent, but there is a sexual attraction to the dark reaper that Kimber can't hide, especially since Death can read his mind. Death certainly doesn't seem to mind in the least either, finding Kimber a bit irresistible himself.
Reaper's Mercy was so far outside the norm and that's not necessarily a bad thing. While some might not like the fact that Death has a merciful side and the ability to actually love, I think the way the author wove the story together and finished it with plenty of explanation and closure will turn the skeptics over to her side. There is a love story involved but it's not "romantic". It's an m/m relationship with Death being an obvious dominant to Kimber's more submissive nature. I personally loved the way TL Reeve took the Reaper and made it her own. Forget about what you've read before because this is a whole new sexy version of Death!
I'd never thought I'd read a story about the grim reaper that I'd like but Ms. Reeve told a story that actually had me cheering for the devil!
Well written, fast paced, good story. A few typos of the "spell check couldn't catch" variety, and a few things undeveloped due to the short length of the story. Overall, though, I enjoyed it and would read more by this author.
